We will be hosting Mike Betts, New Jersey-native who’s been a private Chef for over 20 years. Mike has built a resumé by working under and completing stages for award-winning chefs such as Monique Barbeau (Fullers) in Seattle, Ken Oringer (Clio) in Boston, Raymond Ost (Sandrine’s Bistro) in Cambridge, MA, Michel Husser (Le Cerf) in Marlenheim, Alsace, France and Gunnar Karl Gíslason (Dill) in Reykjavík, Iceland. After leaving the restaurant scene in 2000, he has been working privately as a personal chef for individuals, couples and families. Through recommendations he was able to cook for local celebrity athletes Kevin Youkilis of the Boston Red Sox and Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots to help each of them prepare for their season. Mike continues to do private dinner events in the homes of new and a long-time loyal clientele. Last year, during the covid lull, Mike founded his second company, Boston Personal Chef, LLC, a chef referral service, which links clients to many talented friends of the trade.
