On Oct 2 James Montgomery will bring his band and their 50th Anniversary celebration (delayed to now by Covid, for those original fans) to Kowloon as part of the series ‘Home Grown Rock for Boston’s homeless Vets’ for an outside show at Kowloon (Rt. 1 N. Saugus, MA).
It will feature special added guests Barrence Whitfield, Ilana Katz Katz, Scott Brown and more.
Montgomery was and remains, a one-man dervish capable of grabbing an audience, controlling it and giving it a night to remember.
Montgomery came to town, from his home in Michigan, to get an education and play a little music. He presented a fresh image, a powerful sound, great backing musicians and a “party ‘til you drop” stage persona.
The series will also consist of shows on
Sept 25 – Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room
Oct 9 – Jon Butcher (with full band) and special guest Sal Baglio of The Stompers
Tickets are available for individual shows or at a discount for a series package. As well we will be offering VIP
packages. For more details on all the shows go to GimmeLive.com.
100% of all profits from this series will go to Veterans organizations in the area dealing with the Vets homeless crisis.
